CERTA conducts structured background analyses of academic researchers (Academic Background Check). These investigations are typically conducted for research institutions and research-intensive companies that work with scientists and PhD holders within sensitive sectors (e.g. M&A in innovation-driven companies, collaborative research, and grant evaluation).
The purpose of an academic background check is to establish whether there are particular risks associated with an individual, and whether there are issues that may give rise to doubts regarding the loyalty, trustworthiness, and judgement of the individual’s character.
