Analyst
Analyst at CERTA Intelligence & Security
CERTA is hiring, on a continuous basis, analysts who have experience in gathering, processing and analysing intelligence from, among others, open sources (Open Source Intelligence).
As an analyst, you will be part of CERTA’s team of researchers, analysts and consultants providing advice and assistance to Danish as well as international companies and organisations in the form of:
- Threat and risk assessments, including in relation to specific events and locations as well as specific companies, organisations and individuals.
- Due diligence investigations (background and integrity investigations) of persons, for example in the case of employment and company acquisitions.
- Investigation of suspicious cases, including through data analysis.
- Security advice within, among other things, physical security, cyber security, information security, travel security, preparedness and crisis management.
As an analyst, you will independently, and with the assistance of CERTA’s researchers, lead and carry out data collection and analysis tasks for CERTA’s customers.
We expect you to have a relevant academic education and/or relevant experience with intelligence collection and analysis from, for example, the police, the intelligence services or the media world (investigative journalism) or from other employment with collection and analysis. We also expect that you have good analytical skills, are curious, can think creatively in relation to possible solutions and can present the results in a methodical and structured manner. Finally, we expect you to be well-articulated, written and orally, in English – and preferably other languages as well.
We expect that you have a good basic technical understanding and possibly concrete experience with (or an interest in) the use of relevant collection and analysis tools. We would also want you to contribute with a critical and creative eye to the continued development of CERTA’s capacity in the industry, which takes place through the ongoing optimisation of processes as well as the acquisition or development of tools and approaches.
As CERTA often works with short deadlines, it is important that you are able to manage your time and finish tasks within a given time frame.
As a person, you are flexible, self-driven, good at collaborating in teams, methodical, and you can contribute to creating a good atmosphere in a workplace where we depend on each other to create valuable results for our customers. You must be outgoing and service minded, as you will have direct contact with CERTA’s customers.
