Investigator at CERTA Intelligence & Security

CERTA is continuously seeking skilled and committed investigators – preferably with experience within both traditional investigation, investigation via open sources (Open Source Intelligence) and IT investigations.

CERTA provides investigative assistance to private companies and organisations, including lawyers and their clients. This applies to, among other things, the investigation of irregularities as well as disciplinary and criminal matters, including bribery, corruption, money laundering, fraud, embezzlement and other financial crimes. CERTA provides investigative assistance in the form of:

• Investigation management (presentation and reporting)
• Intelligence gathering via open sources (Open Source Intelligence)
• Questioning and interviewing, as well as recruiting and managing human sources (Human Intelligence)
• Undercover operations
• Negotiation (demand for ransom etc.)
• IT as well as other technical investigations (data security and data analysis etc.)
• Monitoring (observations etc.)
• Special investigative measures

As an investigator at CERTA, you will have to lead and carry out concrete investigations in close cooperation with our researchers, analysts, and other investigators as well as our subcontractors and external specialised consultants.

We expect you to have long-term and relevant investigative experience – preferably from the police, particularly the Danish Police Intelligence Service (PET) and the Danish National Unit for Special Crime (NSK).

You must be experienced in investigative techniques, preparation of investigative reports, interrogations/interviews, monitoring and observation (management and disposition), documentation and reporting.

It will be an advantage if you have experience within:

• IT investigations
  • Securing evidence within digital systems
  • Data extraction from mobile devices (SmartPhones, GPS equipment, camera, etc.)
  • Log analysis
  • Network forensics in Internet-connected network systems
  • Computer forensics in Linux, Mac, Windows, iOS and/or Android
• Internet investigations (Open Source Intelligence)
• Tele-Investigations

You must be outgoing and service minded, as you will have direct contact with CERTA’s customers.
