IT-specialist (student assistant) at CERTA Intelligence & Security
CERTA is continuously hiring IT-specialists (student assistants), that will join the team that is responsible for the development and operation of our internal IT systems, including the systems we use as part of our intelligence gathering and investigations.
When hiring an IT specialist, we emphasise that you:
- Are currently undertaking a theoretical and/or technical IT education
- Have experience in operating and setting up switches, routers, firewalls and wireless networks
- Have experience with the administration of Windows servers, including Active Directory and Group Policy Management as well as MS Exchange and SharePoint
- Have experience and willingness to provide IT support and troubleshooting
- Have experience with Linux and can work from a CLI
- Are familiar with virtualisation technologies, perhaps from larger virtualised environments
It is an advantage if you have concrete experience within or a particular interest in:
- Information security and working with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) – we want you to be up-to-date on news and developments in these areas
- SIEM systems, IDSs, patch management and firewalls
- ASA and WLC – the ideal candidate would be able to work in Cisco CLI and generally have a good grasp of network configuration
- Programming and scripting
- GDPR
On a personal level, we emphasise that you have:

- Good skills with cooperation, communication and coordination
- A sense for systematics and documentation
CERTA offers employment as a student assistant (15 hours per week) with salary according to agreement, where you will get to work with the setup, operation and support of our internal IT systems in collaboration with our hosting providers and external consultants.
